Where can Aluminium Decking be used?

Aluminium decking is very versatile and can be used on balconies, walkways, terraces and patios. Its strength and durability means it has a long lifespan, and it features an anti-slip coating for added safety. Some aluminium decking has been fire tested, such as our A2 EazyDeck XL which achieves a fire rating of A2fl-s1 allowing its use on high-risk properties such as high-rise residential buildings.

Is Aluminium Decking sustainable?

Aluminium decking typically comprises a high percentage of recycled material and is 100% recyclable at end of life. The global construction industry often combines recycled and primary aluminium to meet high demand. Aluminium can be recycled time and time again without any loss of quality, and recycling significantly reduces energy consumption compared to the production of primary material.

What colors do you offer?

What sub-structure can I use?

Substructures are required where the decking needs to be lifted to a specific level, or where the decking is being installed on an uneven surface. In fire-rated applications like high-rise residential buildings, we recommend our aluminium joists and steel pedestals, otherwise a timber or recycled plastic substructure may be used. How do I know what fixings and accessories to use?

What is the lead time on Aluminium Decking systems?

Does aluminium decking get hot?

Aluminium decking can get warm on a sunny day and the colour of the decking will have an effect on the temperature rise. However, it doesn’t heat up any quicker than other materials such as timber or composite, and due to a high thermal conductivity, it cools down much quicker.
