Recycled plastic sleepers are robust landscaping beams made from 100% recycled plastic. Designed as an alternative to traditional timber sleepers, they can be used for garden edging, raised beds, steps, playground edging, foundations and other outdoor landscaping and substructure projects.
BM Steel supplies plastic sleepers in 160 x 80 x 2000mm sizes, with both brown and grey options available. Their solid recycled plastic construction makes them well suited to external applications where the sleepers may be exposed to moisture and changing weather conditions, without the same susceptibility to rot as traditional timber.
Plastic sleepers can be used to create defined borders around lawns, paths and planting areas or assembled to form raised beds, steps and other landscaping features. Their consistent dimensions also make it straightforward to plan layouts and combine multiple sleepers where larger or multi-level structures are required.
