BM Steel walnut composite fencing transforms your outside space with a stylish, updated look. It’s been specifically designed to be an easy solution to almost any fencing problem, and it’s maintenance-free. You can use it alongside your existing wooden panels or as a direct replacement for them. They are as durable as they are lightweight and won’t rot because they don’t absorb water the way wood does.

Fencing is meant to last a long time, so home- and business-owners need to be aware of any potential pitfalls associated with each type of material before they can decide which one meets their needs. Traditional wooden fences may look amazing when they’re first erected, but they’ll need to be repaired and/or replaced regularly because they’re exposed to all kinds of weather. Rain, sleet, and snow will damage a wooden fence relatively quickly if it isn’t well sealed to prevent water damage.

Walnut composite fencing, on the other hand, is far better at withstanding severe weather conditions and won’t need as many repairs and/or replacements as its timber counterpart. Find everything you need to build a walnut composite fence at BM Steel.

Walnut Fencing FAQs

Does composite fencing get extremely hot?

Your fence's material will influence how hot it gets, but the stain you choose will be the deciding factor.

When choosing the colour of your fence panels, remember that darker colours get significantly hotter than lighter ones.

If the composite fence is high-quality, such as ours, it shouldn't get much hotter than wood. However, inferior composite fences may get much hotter than some of the timber choices available.

Is composite fencing easy to clean?

A composite fence panel does not need to be maintained regularly, so it can be kept clean easily.

If you detect any mould, filth, or algae buildup on your fence panels, you can quickly remove it with a power washer without causing any harm to your fence.

A scrubbing brush with soft bristles and some elbow grease will do the trick if you don't have access to a power washer.

Does composite fencing expand and contract?

Considering that composite fences are made of wood-plastic composite materials, they will undoubtedly expand and contract in response to temperature changes.

During construction, you may need to allow more space based on how hot your location gets at its warmest.

Will my composite fencing fade?

In the first few months following installation, high-quality composite fences will fade and become a few shades lighter.

This is not a cause for concern, as the colour will quickly stabilise and will not fade significantly more over the course of its existence. However, if you have a lower-quality composite fence, it may continue to fade with time.

Is composite fencing easy to install?

Installing composite fencing can be quite straightforward if you plan your layout properly and have all the tools you need. Please see our Fencing Installation Guide for more information on the installation process.

In the event that you are not knowledgeable about DIY, you might be better off hiring a professional.
