The MetalPad Pedestal provides a Class A fire-rated, fully adjustable support system ideal for exterior suspended decking and paving on high-rise balconies, terraces, and flat roofs. Its robust construction, featuring Zintec 200 anti-corrosion coating on steel and aluminum components, ensures long-lasting performance in external environments. Free from plastic and rubber, it complies with BS EN 13501-1:2018 and EC Decision 94/611/EC standards and has undergone independent fire testing by Warrington Fire. Boasting a substantial load capacity of 49.86kN (approximately 5,080kg), the pedestal offers precise millimeter-level leveling and is compatible with a range of accessories for creating fully Class A compliant substructures. Complementing this system, Paving Headpieces offer versatile compatibility, fitting directly onto the MetalPad Pedestal, Metal Fixed Height Pads, and all aluminium rails without any mechanical fixings. Their lugged design securely holds tiles or slabs while simultaneously creating essential drainage gaps. Constructed from galvanized steel with a protective Zintec 200 coating for corrosion resistance, these headpieces also achieve a Class A fire rating. The availability of varying lug positions simplifies tile placement for diverse layouts, including brickwork and stretcher bond patterns.
