FAQ
Is the Ecoscape Midnight board suitable for exterior use all year round?
Yes, the board is specifically engineered for outdoor use in UK weather conditions. Its UV-stable capping and moisture-resistant core make it ideal for year-round performance without warping or fading.
Can the slatted composite cladding be installed vertically?
Absolutely. The slatted profile is designed for both vertical and horizontal installations. For vertical use, ensure proper batten spacing and adequate ventilation behind the boards.
How do I maintain the Midnight composite slatted cladding?
Maintenance is minimal. Simply wash the boards occasionally with soapy water and a soft brush or cloth. No need for painting, oiling, or sealing.
Is the colour consistent across batches?
While manufacturing controls are in place, slight variations may occur due to recycled content. It?s best to order all boards for a single project in one batch to ensure consistency.
Can this product be cut and drilled like timber?
Yes, the boards can be cut and drilled with standard woodworking tools. Always use stainless steel screws or clips designed for composite materials to ensure longevity.
Is this board suitable for commercial and high-traffic projects?
Yes. The HDPE-capped composite core is strong enough to be used in commercial installations and retains its structural integrity in high-traffic environments.
