What post tube diameters do the glass clamps fit?

The Eazypost glass clamps are available to fit 42.4mm and 48.3mm round post tubes, as well as a flat-mount option for wall or surface-fixed applications. 

What is the difference between a Middle D and a Square glass clamp?

Middle D clamps have a curved D-shaped profile suited to round balustrade posts, while square clamps offer a more angular aesthetic that complements square post systems or architectural designs requiring a sharper profile finish. 

Why do glass clamps include a rubber insert?

The rubber insert sits between the metal clamp and the glass panel to prevent direct metal-on-glass contact. This protects the glass from stress fractures or chipping and provides additional grip to hold the panel securely in position. 

Are stainless steel glass clamps suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. Grade 316 stainless steel glass clamps offer superior corrosion resistance, making them well suited to outdoor and coastal environments. Grade 316 is recommended over Grade 304 where prolonged exposure to moisture or salt air is likely.
